So, around mid-June, I found a pack of tomato seeds in a drawer. I decided to plant them and see what would happen! I planted 9 seeds in a egg carton (go me for being all reduce/reuse/recycle) and waited for them to sprout. Out of 9, I had 2 seedlings bloom! I then transferred the little babies into a larger space (again, go me for being all GREEN-- I used Kyleigh's baby formula cans).
Well, a few days ago, I transplanted them yet again. They had grown sooo much! Keith had a lot of fun helping me dig the dirt and fill up the larger pots. He swears they are not tomatoes though, and argued with me that they are "palm trees". I wish I had been taking pictures of their progress! 'I've never 'grew' something, other than babies! LOL
I have no idea if I'll actually get tomatoes, but this was really fun planting them and watching them grow. (Kudos to Kevin because he has been watering them the most).
