Our Illinois trip 2010

We visit Illinois every year to see Kevin's family. Normally we go around Thanksgiving, this year we pushed our trip up due to me being in labor / or having a newborn. We left MD on August 19th, and came back on August 26th.

While we were there this visit, Karen put together a baby shower for us (a joint b-day party for Emma) and it was a really great time. The day was sooo busy, but fun. We were (and still are) very thankful for everything everyone did for us while there. I won't be able to post ALL pics on this blog-- but if you are my "friend" on fb-- you have seen most of them already :D

We also stayed at Keith's house (Kevin's brother) and that was a BIG help financially NOT having to pay for a hotel! A big thank you to Keith and Diane for the hospitality and letting us borrow your "extra" house.

It was a great time, and as always WAY TOO SHORT!

I will miss the fall colors this year, but it was nice seeing Kankakee in a different season.
